Swedish Ministry of Design begav sig igår med höga förväntningar till Berns och Beckmanselevernas pressvisning. Levde studenterna upp till förväntningarna? Absolut! Det känns befriande att se studenternas kreativitet som inte är styrda av lönsamhetskrav och direktiv från styrelser och ledningar. Vi hoppas att några av dem fortsätter att göra sin grej och tänjer sina gränser, precis som tidigare och nu etablerade designers såsom Sandra backlund och Helena Hörstedt. För er som inte var på visningen skulle vi vilja passa på att tipsa om studenternas examensutställning på Nybrogatan 8 och som pågår till den 25e maj. www.beckmans.se
Swedish Ministry of Design went yesterday with high expectations to the Berns and the students of Beckmans presshow. Did the students deliver? Absolutely! It feels liberating to see the students’ creativity that is not driven by profitability and directives from the executive boards and wiring. We hope that some of them continue to do its thing and strengthen its borders, as in the past and now the established designers such as Sandra Backlund and Helena Hörstedt. For those of you who were not on display, we would like to take this opportunity to tell about the students’ exhibition on Nybrogatan 8 and is going to the 25th May. www.beckmans.se
